The Government Law School was rechristened as the Government Law College in the year of 1925. The college was converted into a full-time educational establishment in the year of 1938. Since then there has been no looking back and the college wrote some successful chapters in each passing year. Today it has emerged as one of the best Law Colleges in India, attracting students from all nooks and corners of India. A student passing the Bachelor Degree Examination of the Mumbai University with minimum 45% marks or a corresponding degree examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Mumbai University with the minimum prescribed marks is eligible for admission to the First Year L.L.B.
